Monad (L1 – High Performance, Airdrop Potential)

If you’re eyeing new Layer-1s with strong airdrop chances, Monad is one of the best choices at the current time. The Monad infrastructure is a fully EVM-compatible L1, with 10,000 TPS, with near-instant finality and almost zero gas fees.

  • Numbers & backing: Monad has raised about $244M from top funds like Paradigm and DragonFly Capital. Its testnet has already pulled in tens of thousands of users, with multiple dApps building on it.
  • Recent update: The testnet has been live since February 2025, and the mainnet is scheduled for Sept 30, 2025. At the same time, Monad Cards (Wave 2) are open for 4,000+ users to claim.
  • After airdrop: Like other big L1 launches (e.g. Berachain, Story Protocol), chances are high there will be a snapshot or airdrop for testnet users and card claimers.
  • Why it matters: Besides strong technical infrastructure and serious funding rounds, the Monad community is one of the most active that put Monad on track to be one of the hottest L1s of 2025.

Linea ( L2 – zkEVM Scaling Ethereum)

Looking into Layer-2s and zkEVMs sector, Linea by Consensys is a project worth watching. It’s a zkEVM L2 scaling Ethereum, with a fee system that burns 20% in ETH and a staking model tied closely to Ethereum.

  • Numbers & backing: Linea is developed by Consensys, the team behind Metamask, and has strong support from the Ethereum Foundation and the wider ETH community.
  • Recent update: The new roadmap highlights a fair token model: “No insiders, No extraction.” While no airdrop has been confirmed, the community expects rewards for early users and builders.
  • After airdrop (expected): If a token drops, it will likely reward early adopters, bridge users, and devs deploying contracts on Linea.
  • Why it matters: Linea doesn’t just scale Ethereum — it also focuses on fair distribution. That makes it one of the most promising L2s to farm for airdrops.

Symbiotic (Restaking – Shared Security for Web3)

When touching into the restaking sector, Symbiotic is worth a try. Joining Symbiotic, users could stake ETH or any LSTs related to secure multiple networks, boosting capital efficiency for retail holders, validators, etc.

  • Numbers & backing: Symbiotic raised $5.8M from funds like Paradigm, Pantera, and Coinbase Ventures. The protocol’s significant milestone is hitting over $1.3B TVL in its first month of launching.

  • Recent update: It went live on Ethereum mainnet on Jan 28, 2025. Platforms like Kiln have already integrated it, making ETH restaking easy with extra rewards.
  • After airdrop: Symbiotic runs a points system, which is very likely to become the base for token/airdrop distribution, much like EigenLayer.
  • Why it matters: Restaking is one of the biggest narratives right now. With rapid TVL growth and strong backers, Symbiotic is a top-tier candidate for 2025 airdrops.

Tap-to-Earn

Sidekick (LiveFi – Livestream to Earn)

If you like weird-but-cool projects, Sidekick is worth checking out. Instead of only watching livestreams, users can tip, trade, or grab airdrops right inside the stream. It sounds odd, but it’s working. Furthermore, the tap-to-earn sector is always an easy to attract user base that many gaming project are heading to.

  • Numbers & backing: Sidekick is backed by Binance Labs (now YZi Labs), plus Solana Foundation, HashKey, and Altos Ventures. As of Q3/2025, the project handled over 1 million on-chain transactions, and it runs on BNB, Solana, and Base.

  • Recent update: Public beta is live. They run a points-based airdrop campaign that ends on Sept 3, 2025. Stream, invite friends, or just interact to earn points that convert to $SK.
  • After airdrop: Binance Alpha confirmed it will distribute Sidekick’s airdrop on Aug 8, 2025. That basically guarantees there will be liquidity at launch. With more streamers joining, Sidekick could be the first big LiveFi success.
  • Why it matters: LiveFi mixes entertainment and DeFi. With strong backers and real user engagement, it can create big FOMO. If you watch streams, this one is worth getting into early.

Midas (RWA – Tokenizing Real-World Assets)

Considering the RWA trend, Midas is a hot project to watch. It builds a platform to turn real-world assets into on-chain, tradable tokens. The protocol is built to get exposure with institutional-grade assets.

  • Funding: Midas closed seed/early rounds around $8.5–8.75 million, reported on Bitget, CryptoRank, and on the project’s X (Twitter) channels. The protocol funding rounds are backed by Backed by Hi Framework, Strobe Ventures, GSR, and Coinbase Ventures.

  • Community activity: Midas doesn’t yet have a public Dune/Nansen dashboard for claims, but its Telegram and X communities are active. People are watching for incentive hints and claim windows.
  • Risks & limits: The team has noted geo-restrictions (e.g., limits for US/UK users). Check KYC and eligibility before you farm.
  • Why it matters: RWA is a big narrative in 2025. With solid backers and hype, an eventual airdrop could attract sizable TVL. Follow the bot and official channels so you don’t miss claim opportunities.

Install-App (DePIN)

GRASS

Everybody will take an eye on the easy-to-earn sector, and the AI + DePIN is the one that is worth trying. GRASS is hard to ignore. It tokenizes bandwidth to feed AI data, is built on Solana, and has already run a huge airdrop.

  • On-chain numbers: Over 1.5 million addresses claimed GRASS — the biggest Solana airdrop so far. Reports say 82.75% of the total GRASS supply (about 64.8M tokens) was claimed by 1.83M addresses by early November.
  • After the airdrop: Token price jumped 125% in three days. Market cap hit about $450M, and daily trading volume topped $400M.

  • Network scale: GRASS processes 100 TB of data per day. This number is roughly twice the data volume used to train ChatGPT. The network covers 190 countries and reportedly runs over 2.5M nodes.
  • Why it matters: It has money and community, plus long-term momentum from AI + DePIN. If you missed the first wave, there are still unlocks and utility to come. Watch the app, extension, and Dune to catch future claim rounds.

DAWN (Solana DePIN – Internet Sharing Extension)

If you prefer farming by sharing your home internet, DAWN is a solid pick. In short, DAWN is Decentralized Autonomous Wireless Network. It is a decentralized wireless network that allows users to share their bandwidth and earn money from their shares. It basically turns your PC into a mini-ISP.

  • Funding: The project raised around $18–33M in early rounds. The round was led by Dragonfly Capital.
  • User base: Currently, the protocol has over 500,000 users. The numbers were counted through the validator extension setup, and points farming was calculated.

  • Earning model: You can earn up to 1,440 points per day by running the extension 24/7. Referrals and social tasks add bonuses.
  • Product readiness: The Chrome extension is live and stable in the Web Store, so DAWN is ready to scale.
  • Why it matters: Big funding and a real user base make DAWN a strong DePIN infra project. Farming is easy. Users just need to install, run, and collect daily points. Token launch hasn’t happened yet, so there’s still time to farm.

Game-to-Airdrop

B3 (Gaming Layer-3 on Base)

B3 is not just a single game. B3 is a Layer 3 decentralized network that plays the role of a gaming hub for a wide range of non-chain games. The B3 included many games from the Base ecosystem and was built by ex-Coinbase engineers. Expect near-zero gas and very fast trades. B3 is the platform’s native utility token.

  • Recent update: B3 ran an airdrop in Feb 2025 and offers many ways to farm points: play, stake, and join tournaments. The B3 token is currently listed on Bybit, Coinbase, and Gate.io exchanges.
  • On-chain numbers: Tracked data shows some positive numbers. There are 6 million players, 130 million transactions in the first 100 days, and about 140k daily active players. Tokenomics reported: 34.2% for community, 23.3% for team & advisors, 22.5% for Player1 Foundation, and 20% for investors, with typical lockups and vesting.
  • Why follow: Engaging with the B3 chain through playing games, players will get rewarded and earn tokens. If you are hunting for airdrops, B3 is worth a try.

zkCandy (Layer-2 gaming on zkSync)

zkCandy pairs zkSync (Matter Labs) with iCandy, a major gaming studio in Southeast Asia. The protocol puts its emphasis on AI-gaming, Ai-enabled entertainment, bring the best AI experiences for players.

  • Mainnet & funding: Mainnet launched April 17, 2025. Prior to that, zkCandy raised about $4M with backers like Wemix and Animoca Ventures.

  • Testnet traction: Public Testnet Voyage drew 2.4 million wallets. They ran campaigns on Layer3 (April 8–May 8, 2025) where players could play, bridge assets, and earn Candy points.
  • Rewards: Over 2 million people joined testnet campaigns. Candy points can be converted to tokens in future distributions. Some referral campaigns gave 40,000 points per friend invited. Games launched include “Pepe Kingdom”, “Candy Defense”, and “Sugar Rush”, with a target of 2 million active users within six months.
  • Why join early: zkCandy is already live and expanding. Play a lot, do tasks, and stack Candy points to aim for a high-tier airdrop.

Testnet-to-Airdrop

Sahara AI (Decentralized AI Platform)

When talking about AI + Web3, Sahara AI is building a decentralized AI stack focused on fair and transparent training data. The protocol helps to build AI products, contribute to the AI sector, and especially monetizeAI.

  • Funding: Sahara closed a $43M Series A, led by Pantera, Binance Labs, and Polychain, with others joining.

  • Use case: The team focuses on copyright and transparency for AI training data and has partnerships and credibility with big orgs.
  • On-chain & adoption: Sahara launched a paid labeling platform and distributed over $450K in rewards during initial runs. The $SAHARA token is already listed and has payment integrations that extend use cases across merchants.
  • Why it matters: If you contribute data or label in testnets, Sahara’s airdrop model rewards contributors. The token already has some real utility and adoption.

Hemi Network (Bitcoin Programmability Layer)

Hemi wants to make Bitcoin programmable, combining Bitcoin’s security with smart contract capabilities. Hemi is developing a modular Layer-2 blockchain network. In its core, the protocol combines the security of Bitcoin with the programmability of Ethereum. In which we say, it is a “super-network” powered by the Hemi Virtual Machine (hVM) and a trust-minimized “Tunnels” system.

Funding & ecosystem: The Hemi protocol raised $15M in a growth round, bringing total funding close to $30M. The project has backers like YZi Labs, Republic Digital, and others.

On-chain traction: The network shows strong user engagement. There are about 100k+ verified users, strong community with more than 400k+ members. The protocol TVL is $1.2B. Furthermore, the protocol also partners with many projects.

Airdrop & tokenomics: Hemi plans a community distribution of roughly 10% of supply (about 1 billion HEMI) via airdrops, while 25% goes to on-chain pre-sale.

Why it matters: This is a big ticket project for Bitcoin-DeFi. Join testnets, finish quests, and use Binance Wallet features to collect points and boost airdrop chances.
