Disclosure Day, which hit theaters in early June, marks a return to sci-fi for legendary director Steven Spielberg. Not just sci-fi, but specifically alien-themed sci-fi. He teams up with TV meteorologist Margaret Fairchild (Emily Blunt), and they fight “not just for the future of humanity, but also humanity’s understanding of the universe,” as Mashable’s entertainment editor puts it in her review.

A little over a month after its theatrical release, Disclosure Day made its digital debut on July 21, 2026. This means you can buy or rent the movie from on-demand retailers for $24.99 or $19.99. If you choose to rent, you’ll get 30 days to watch the film and just 48 hours to finish it once you start. If you choose to buy it, then it’s yours to keep and watch as many times as you want.
